I've spent years exploring different mediums and methods in an effort to stave off stagnation, so I'm always happy to take on a new challenge (regardless if I have prior experience with it).

The many times that type is something of a focus in my works..

My work as a wannabe photographer, capturing unscripted moments from various travels and explorations. All images available for licensing and prints.

Shots taken in and around the ocean, from around the world. A personal favorite.

The act of surfing as well as the subculture that surrounds it.

Things I stumped across without any sort of planning or expectation.

Getting myself away from the sea, and exploring the non-coastal territories.

Fish out of water vibes. Shots from the view times I braved bigger cities than suburbs.

Instances where people are a primary, or near-primary, focus of photos. Vague, I agree.

When I was looking for something else, I captured these moments instead. 90% of my shots technically fall under this category.

Animations done primarily for interactive prototypes, or proof of concepts.

Using some of the programmatic abilities of AE to be more expressive and utilize generative abilities.

Transitioning my experience creating static images into more cinematic applications.

Putting my photographic experience with landscapes into motion.. just slightly.

Opposite the broad views of the landscape, focusing in on various found textures that are more dynamic when moving.

Expanding my understanding of both my tools auditory fundamentals.

Spontaneous moments capture from my life, immortalized on sheets of paper.

When I was looking for something else, I captured these moments instead. 90% of my shots technically fall under this category

There's a million shots of these lifeguard towers, but this one just plays a part in a deceptively calm sunset scene.

After driving past this, I had a hard time believing I had seen it correctly. The composition and colors are things I probably couldn't have choreography better myself.

Icelandic port cities are usually full of character, and oddly quiet from my experience.

Poolside vibes in the Arizona desert. Definitely a favorite spot to roam and shoot.

I cant explain my affinity for abandoned buildings, but the southwest has a lot.. this one gas station might be my favorite though.

In what was quite possibly the most spontaneously Hawaiian moment, I went down to shoot waves at sunset and a local decided to play the ukulele and cruise around.

Shots taken in and around the ocean, from around the world. A personal favorite for the infinite possibilities.

These double-ups out at Cloudbreak live rent-free in my head.

Sometimes, when the waves sucks and the battery is tickin away, my attention tends to wander upward.

Managing to capture the Napoli coast while bouncing around on a small boat in a bunch of chop.

If there ever was a shot that unified many interests, this is probably it.

Doing my best to get that 1/1000 a sec of calm on a very bumpy boat tour.

This shot becomes more wild when realize this is backwash.

Being from LA, having off-shore conditions around sunset is a major rarity, so I wasn't going to miss my chance when living in hawaii.

Some times I have a great time staring at the sun. Id say it doesnt hurt when its calm and glassy, but it hurts twice as bad.

Shot on a rather ominous looking day in a place that might be the most picturesque I've been. I can't resist the temptation of making a dark, emotive image.

This was always an image I wanted to capture since starting water photography, but low-light focus can be illusive.

Stand + Delivered

Amidst all the chaos on the north shore, there's random moments of calm in between it all.

Roaming around Dead Horse Point at dawn trying to find an 'epic' view, but a dead tree did just fine.

A wandering river through the Icelandic highlands. The colors, and textures of this place are definitely surreal.

Some poolside vibes at Yellowstone– the colors and textures are crazy.

Textures of the deserts might be some of my favorite things to shoot... ever.

If it's not obvious yet, I have an affinity for dunes and the desert. Also experiencing a sandstorm was a rather memorable moment.

An unexpected capture with one of the most impressive waterfalls I've ever seen just out of frame.

My first sunrise at Mt. Witney, ended up being the best Ive had after several trips back there.

A study of color and form, found somewhere very random in Utah.

Things in and around the surfing lifestyle and subcultures.

A historic place and an icon surf spot... it's hard not to throw it back.

I'm not sure what sort of dream these guys are chasing... seems like more of a nightmare to me... but it looks pretty cool.

Does it matter that this day was rather unruly and there's a reason it's empty? I feel like I spent half of middle school drawing waves like this in my notebooks.

I have a lot of shots of Tyler on the nose, but this is the clear favorite. Sharp focus, sunny, clean, arch with a bonus hand drag. Plenty of shots without one of those.

The aloha spirit is alive in well, broh– here's some proof

Shot from lurking in the bushes in Eukai beach park. The lack of people out in the water should be a giveaway that this captured an anomaly on the day.

The last shot from an evening swim out at Pipe. I had written the session off, but thanks to the rip I got to hang out a little longer.

A personal favorite from a favorite sunset swim session. 3/4 the joy of surfing is between waves and experiencing moments such as this.

New York definitely has a color palette, and I'm a fan. The scale of it all some times is hard to grasp though.
