As you might suspect, I have to be pretty vague about the details of my time at Apple– both as a full-time employee and contractor. For both instances, I worked with the Marcom team on product launches for dot com as an Art Director. In that time, I helped lead ideation for introducing new products to the world, coordinated with other teams to bring it to life, and helped oversee production while further expanding upon the system.
Some of the projects I was a part of were the launches of the Apple Watch, AirPods Pro, AirPod Mini, iPad, and WWDC. Across those projects, I was able to work with some of the most talented people I've ever met. And while working at a big company was a bit of a culture shock (coming from a small agency with near-complete autonomy), I grew to appreciate the challenges even if my sphere of influence was greatly reduced.
As you might imagine, Apple isn't the sharing type. I've worked on lot of really fun stuff in my time there as a full-time and freelance resource, and while I'm sure it sounds like a cop out... I just can't show it. Below are a couple excerpts of things that I worked on– some being unsolicited and un-used concepts I whipped up as a means to enhance the story-telling, and some being just isolated components I developed.
