In what was an exhaustive re-think of how I represent myself online, this 2023 rendition of the site is a large strategic shift for me. It may not look too much different (yet), but this was an investment in creating a content platform before anything else.

Primary Objectives

• More clearly convey what I do. People are generally confused by me since I try to do so much.
• Meet visitors with organic discovery at every turn. I want you to get lost.
• Create a platform to regularly, and easily post new content, products, etc. This is a big one, but this investment wont bear fruits til I get the site foundation a little more dialed in and start producing more NEW content. What a concept.. Im over living in the past.
• Use the catalog as a means to power site-wide content, display disparate content together, diagram those connections, and be able to evolve as needed without having to tear things down and start over. Changing the design will be easy, and cataloged content will already be done.

Known Issues

• Page transitions are kind of funky. I might have to restructure everything and use a different method.
• Case studies are a mess. I'm working through how to best populate this content (how to create a toolkit to tell stories) within a number of CMS limitations.
• There's a general lack of meaningful art direction. The minimalist look is somewhat an AD, but I want some that's a bit more expressive... the hover states are hinting at the vibe I want.
• Everything is pretty tight (spatially). The layout is extremely utilitarian at the moment, and I want to spend time pushing it to be more expressive (and just let it breathe a bit.. there's a lot going on, and its not always clear what exactly is going on...I get it)
• Some of the anchor links are not anchoring to the correct location.
• There's some inconsistencies in visual language from being non-committal.
• Things get a little weird over 1920. Im going to fix a lot of then when I make the max width a bit wider... which will be a lot more work than im ready for at the moment.
• Mobile can also get weird in places.
• Performance is.. not optimal. Im not a developer, this was forced upon me, but I'm doing what I can to continually optimize where possible.

That being said, if you see something I might not be aware of, please say something. There's a million things I'm trying to manage with this site, and while I've tried to more efficiently code things via a more cogent system, sometimes things unknowingly go awry anyways. If thats the case, you might be wondering why I launched this now? Well, even in it's quasi-broken state, I think its far more refined than the previous site, and is MUCH better able to represent me as a creative than the previous one could.

Lots of updates coming quick, fast and in a hurry.. with product and daily Delta posts ramping up as fixes wind down.
