INTRODUCTION
An 8-part poster series to high—light the latest ALT–C build, Evinetta.
(Collab Details)
This is A Poster series That showcases the evinetta build from the master saucier of spice, Ash Thorp (+ a team of insanely talented individuals). With a blanks-slate directive going in, I was asked to make posters of various styles that showcase the car from their short film 'Evinetta'. with A selection of beauty shots at my disposal, I created a set of eight posters, which skew more minimal/simplistic in their design to remove distractions from what's really important here: evinetta.
One poster will be released per day, and will remain for sale for an indefinite amount of time (as of writing this). And a Major major shout out to main man ASh Thorp for the opportunity to jam on these– I haven't had this much fun designing stuff in a long while.
(In Ash's Words)
We designed this car around the incredible 1970's Ferrari Berlinetta concept designed by renowned Pininfarina.  We thought it would be a unique concept to combine the past with the present and package it together as a hybrid. The Evinetta is propelled by a Tesla Model S powertrain with active ride suspension, custom wheels, and a chassis and interior bits from a Porsche RSR.
If you haven't had the chance to see the film, I highly recommend checking it out– it's really quite amazing what a relatively small team was able to achieve between the build and the film to showcase it. Here's the film if you haven't seen it:

Inspired by the technical nature of the build and the industrial setting to many parts of the film, JWSxALT001 is meant to highlight the technical aspects of the build– the Tesla EV powertrain, Porsche RSR bits and the 512-S body. An exercise in minimalism and letting the mechanical beauty created by ash thorp and team shine through.

(About)
Inspired by some of the dawn shots in the film, JWSxALT002 uses color and crop to accentuate Evinetta’s form and wild lines. Creating a minimal, Swiss-style poster (with a grotesque font created around the same time as the original Berlinetta’s release) seemed rather appropriate as well.

With tons of organic camera movements and framing in the film, I felt the techniques subtly emphasize the moment/speed of Evinetta. In an effort to capture that in a poster ± turn it up to 11, JWSxALT003 is my attempt to further accentuate the fast/angular lines of the built.

An exercise in abstraction. There’s many shots of Evinetta where it’s barely visible, short of street lights reflecting off it’s slim profile. To accentuate that while taking cues from the film, the aspect ratio of the image is also at a traditional anamorphic aspect ratio of 2.39:1.

Introduction
(About)
Taking cues from typical movie posters, JWSxALT005 is a minimalistic take on what that might look like— while placing the focus entirely on the build. This angle was chosen because it best tells the story of the marriage of the body and powertrain/chassis at the soul of the Evinetta build.

Playing off the old english type treatment for the film title, I wanted something that juxtaposed it with a more tonal palette. Shifting to a vertical orientation felt like it accentuated Evinetta’s slender form… in spite of how much it expands with all panels open.

The anamorphic aspect ratio is rather unique and hard to ignore... so are the geometry and aesthetically pleasing lines / proportions of the Evinetta. My attempt at pulling them together into a poster looks kinda like this.

With so many frames of Evinetta parked in dark parking structures or under sparse street lights, its hard not lean into a little it. Type as a texture to display the key technical stats of the build, and a mild color grade mixed in.

Stuff that didn't make it because They never materialized into anything I cared much for, or they were things that ash didn't feel were quite to represent the build. Lots of exploring and lots of failing to see what doesn't work in as guidance to focus on what did work.
